Medicine Course Orientation Day 1 of 2 (held over two days)
Description
Day 1 of orientation to H3X Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (BMedScMD). Burnie campus. All year 1 medicine students are expected to attend both days of the medicine course orientation. Across the two days, you will be introduced to many staff of the medicine course, various support services, the unit CAM101, which is the first semester unit of the medicine course, the subjects (disciplines and domains) you will be studying in year 1, approaches to teaching and learning, types of assessment, and medicine student societies. There will also be tours of the West Park and RCS campuses, where most of your on-campus classes will be held.
