During the first hour of your KDA105 Circular Design Thinking intensive on Monday 16 February, we will:
- Welcome you to the programme and introduce the teaching team
- Explain the Bachelor of Design structure, units and expectations
- Familiarise you with both the Hunter Street and Sandy Bay campuses
- Outline the intensive programme and answer any questions
- Set you up for success in your first unit
Following orientation, we will move straight into KDA105 Circular Design Thinking, which introduces the design thinking approaches and circular design principles that underpin the entire programme. This intensive provides an excellent opportunity to meet your cohort, experience hands-on learning and begin building the foundational skills you will apply throughout your degree.
A note for international students: Your compulsory International Student Orientation has been factored into the scheduling, and that you will be dropped off at the Stanley Burbury Lecture Theatre from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm to attend that session before returning to the Circular Design Thinking group.
