Description

World Mental Health Day 2024 is a global observance dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues, reducing stigma, and promoting mental well-being. This important day serves as a reminder that mental health is an essential part of overall health, and it encourages individuals and communities to take actions that support mental health. We are celebrating World Mental Health Day by planting sunflower seeds on campus. The idea of taking out time to the garden and connecting with nature.

The ‘Do You See What I See?’ campaign encourages people to make a #MentalHealthPromise and shed a more positive light on mental health in a bid to reduce stigma for the one in five Australians who are affected by mental illness annually. UTAS Rozelle is recognising the importance of talking, sharing and reducing the stigma attached to mental health.
